Conditions of Booking

These Conditions apply to all festival attendees purchasing tickets through our online ticketing platform We Scan Tickets

These T&Cs include the following references:

  • ‘Event’ which refers to any Warriors and Witches Tattoo Festival event
  • ‘The Organiser’ which is Warriors and Witches Limited
  • ‘The Arena’ refers to the fenced show area including marquees, performances, catering village and trading village
  • ‘The venue’ and ‘the site’ refers to the farmer’s fields known as Fairview Orchard, Lane End, Bere Regis, Wareham BH20 7NP, and all festival infrastructure, goods and property on them.

1. GENERAL

  1. It is your responsibility to check the details of your ticket(s); mistakes cannot always be rectified.
  2. The right of admission to the Event is reserved by Witches and Warriors (the Organiser) and venue owner, who may take health and safety, environmental and security concerns into account at their reasonable discretion, and may from time to time carry out security searches.
  3. Artists and billed attractions may be subject to change.
  4. No trading or promotional activities allowed within the venue without Witches and Warriors prior consent.
  5. Goods using unauthorised Event logos and/or unauthorised professional recording equipment must be surrendered to security staff.
  6. Do not buy tickets or goods from unlawful street traders/touts. There is no guarantee of tickets’ validity for entry unless purchased direct from Warriors and Witches or official ticket agents for the Event.
  7. You give your express consent to your actual/simulated likeness to be included for no fee within any audio or visual recording to be used in any media for any purpose at any time. This includes filming by the police or security staff which may be carried out for the security of customers and/or the prevention of crime.
  8. No unauthorised buses, coaches or trucks will be allowed on site.
2. BOOKING FEES
Warriors and Witches uses the ‘We Scan Tickets’ online ticketing platform, which charges a booking fee of 58p + VAT per ticket plus a 3.2% transaction charge. These costs are clearly indicated on the ticket sales page at the point of purchase and are automatically added to the face value of the ticket(s) you purchase. Booking fees typically cover the costs of providing the ticketing service, including card payment processing, staffing, etc.

3. GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS

  1. General admission tickets are valid only for the event, date and ticket type stated at the time of purchase.
  2. Tickets must be retained and presented upon entry, either digitally or in another format specified by us.
  3. Tickets must not be resold for profit or commercial gain without our prior written permission.
  4. We reserve the right to refuse admission where a ticket has been duplicated, fraudulently obtained, altered or otherwise misused.

3. TICKET REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

  1. Please check your booking carefully before completing payment.
  2. Tickets are sold subject to the Organiser’s right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its reasonable control (for example adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, or restrictions enforced by the government) without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
  3. Where an event is going ahead as advertised, tickets are generally non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable UK consumer law.
  4. If you are unable to attend the event, you should contact us as soon as possible. Any transfer or change of ticket will be at our discretion and may be subject to conditions.
  5. If the event is cancelled, postponed or materially changed, we will provide information regarding available options in accordance with applicable UK consumer law and the circumstances of the event.

3a. BOOKING REFUND PROTECTION

  1. Witches and Warriors tickets are purchased through the ‘We Scan Tickets’ ticketing platform; prior to completing your ticket purchase you will be offered the opportunity to purchase Booking Refund Protection with XCover.com which may cover a refund of your purchase price should you or anyone in the party be unable to attend due (for instance) to an injury or illness affecting you or a member of your immediate family.
  2. Please note, the amount you pay for Booking Refund Protection goes to the insurance company; Witches and Warriors has nothing to do with the administration of booking refund protection, and does not benefit from the premium in any way.   3. Should you wish to make a claim you will need to contact XCover.com direct at www.xcover.com/en/claim.
4. EVENT CHANGES
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the event where necessary. These may include changes to:
Event times
Venue arrangements
Artists
Tattoo artists
Vendors
Performers
Demonstrations
Activities
Event layout
Timings and schedules
Every reasonable effort will be made to communicate significant changes to ticket holders.

5. AGE RESTRICTIONS

  1. No unaccompanied under 18s are allowed on site. All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder aged over 21. This adult must remain on site throughout the evening/day/weekend (as appropriate) as the guardian of the under 18 year-old.
  2. Children 11 years and younger are admitted free, but must be accompanied at all times by a paying ticket-holder aged over 21.
  3. Children and young adults 12-18 years must have a full price ticket.
  4. We do not accept any parental or supervisory duty of care or liability for any under 18s on site.
  5. Certain activities, products and services at Warriors and Witches may be subject to age restrictions.
  6. All attendees, artists and vendors must comply with applicable UK laws and venue requirements concerning age-restricted activities and products.
  7. Valid identification may be requested where legally required.

6. TICKETS AND WRISTBANDS

  1. Electronic or printed tickets must be exchanged for a wristband on first entry to the Event. No re-admission on ticket.
  2. Tickets/wristbands purchased from unauthorised sources may be rendered invalid and admission refused.
  3. Two individual Day Tickets (Sat/Sun) do not equal a weekend ticket and cannot be exchanged or upgraded to include campsite access.
  4. Warriors and Witches is not obliged to issue duplicates for a lost or stolen wristband; any request will be dealt with on its individual merits.
  5. The ticket holder is responsible for their ticket(s) until exchanged for a wristband, and then responsible for their wristband for the duration of the Event. 

7. HEALTH, SAFETY & SECURITY

  1. Everyone attending Warriors and Witches must follow reasonable instructions given by event staff, security personnel and venue staff.
  2. Emergency exits, fire routes and access routes must remain clear at all times.
  3. Artists and vendors must maintain safe working areas and comply with all applicable health and safety requirements.
  4. You may be body/bag searched at the entrances, on the site or when leaving.
  5. The use of drones or similar equipment is prohibited on or near the Event without written permission from Warriors and Witches. If approved the use of drones must abide by the latest UK and CAA rules and regulations at all times. Do not fly within 50 metres of people or vehicles. You may be prosecuted if you fly a drone within 150 metres of any large group of people.
  6. Be aware that some performances may include the use of pyrotechnics, lasers, smoke machines, strobe lighting/special effects.
  7. Any item(s) reasonably considered for use as a weapon, which may cause danger, offence or disruption to any other person, must be surrendered to staff.
  8. Any person carrying illegal items or carrying out illegal activity may be handed over to the Police, refused entry or evicted from the site without refund.
  9. Warriors and Witches reserves the right to evict a ticket holder without refund, and/or refuse admission.
  10. Anti-social behaviour may lead to eviction. Please act responsibly.

8. DAMAGE/LOSSES

  1. Warriors and Witches is unable to accept any liability for personal or property damages, losses (including surrendered items) or injuries sustained at the Event – other than caused as a result of our negligence.
  2. You may be prosecuted if you cause damage to the site, the site infrastructure, or cause harm to any other person at the Event and/or site.

XX. BEHAVIOUR AND RIGHT OF ADMISSION

  1. We want Warriors and Witches to be a safe, welcoming and enjoyable event for everyone.
  2. We reserve the right to refuse admission to, or remove from the event, any person whose behaviour is threatening, abusive, violent, discriminatory, disruptive or otherwise inappropriate.
  3. This may include behaviour towards event staff, security, artists, vendors, performers or other attendees.
  4. No refund will normally be provided to anyone removed from the event due to unacceptable behaviour, subject to applicable law.

9. BANNED ITEMS

  1. Banned from the Event – open fires, fire pits, fireworks, flares, blowtorches, sky or ‘Chinese’ lanterns, petrol burners, illegal items and substances, drugs, ‘legal highs’ and associated equipment including balloons, unidentified substances, psychoactive substances (NPS), illegal weapons.
  2. Banned from the main Arena – in addition to all items listed in a) above – firewood, campsite stoves.
  3. If you need to bring in specific medication due to a pre-existing medical condition, please carry supporting medical evidence.
  4. We do not encourage the use of personal independent generators in the camping area. If you must use a generator then it will need to be a diesel generator (not petrol) and run only during the daytime so long as you’re not annoying anyone. Please be considerate of other campers.
  5. Excessive amounts of food, cigarettes and alcohol may be confiscated. Only bring enough for personal consumption.
  6. Anyone resisting the surrender of banned items or disregarding these conditions will face eviction.
  7. Illegal items that are surrendered or confiscated will not be returned; other items that are surrendered or confiscated will only be returned at the discretion of the organiser and/or security personnel.

10. ALCOHOL & DRUGS

  1. Attendees, artists and vendors must comply with all applicable laws and venue rules relating to alcohol and controlled substances.
  2. Illegal drug use or possession will not be tolerated at the event.
  3. Anyone who appears to be intoxicated to a level that presents a risk to themselves or others may be refused entry or removed from the event.
  4. Under 18s are not permitted to bring alcohol or to purchase alcohol on site.
  5. It is illegal for an over 18 to purchase alcohol on behalf of under 18s.

11. PHOTOGRAPHY, FILMING AND PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL

  1. Photography and filming may take place at Warriors and Witches for promotional, marketing, social media and archival purposes.
  2. By attending the event, you acknowledge that you may appear incidentally in photographs or video recordings.
  3. If you do not wish to be deliberately photographed or filmed, please speak to a member of the Warriors and Witches team.
  4. Artists and vendors may photograph or film within their own allocated areas provided that this does not interfere with the event, other attendees or neighbouring exhibitors.

12. PERSONAL BELONGINGS

  1. Attendees, artists and vendors are responsible for their own personal belongings, equipment, stock and valuables.
  2. Warriors and Witches does not accept responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged property except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
  3. Lost property should be reported to a member of the event team.

13. LIABILITY

  1. Nothing in these Conditions of Booking excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

  2. Subject to this, Warriors and Witches and its organisers will not be responsible for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

  3. Artists and vendors are responsible for their own businesses, products, services, equipment, employees, contractors and customers.

  4. Artists and vendors should ensure that they hold appropriate insurance for their activities.

14. EVENT CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT

  1. In exceptional circumstances, we may need to cancel, postpone or relocate the event.
  2. We will communicate any significant changes as soon as reasonably practicable.

  3. Where a cancellation or postponement occurs, we will set out the options available to ticket holders, artists and vendors in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the cancellation or postponement.

15. CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL
We will not be responsible for failure or delay in performing our obligations where this is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This may include, for example, severe weather, fire, flooding, public health emergencies, government restrictions, industrial action, venue closure, power failure, natural disasters or other circumstances that make the event unsafe or impossible to operate.

16. WEBSITE AND BOOKING ERRORS

  1. We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information displayed on the Warriors and Witches website is accurate.
  2. If an obvious pricing, availability or booking error occurs, we reserve the right to correct the error and contact affected customers.
  3. We will not knowingly accept a booking where the booking information is materially incorrect due to an obvious error.

17. DATA PROTECTION

  1. Personal information provided when making a booking will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  2. Information may be used to process bookings, communicate important event information and administer the event.

18. COMPLAINTS

  1. We want everyone attending or exhibiting at Warriors and Witches to have a positive experience.

  2. Any complaint should be raised with a member of the event team as soon as reasonably possible so that we have an opportunity to address the issue during the event.

  3. After the event, complaints should be submitted by email to: Richie@warriorsandwitches.co.uk. Please provide your booking reference and sufficient information for us to investigate the matter.

19. GOVERNING LAW

  1. These Conditions of Booking are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

  2. Any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.

20. WARRIORS AND WITCHES – INFORMATION

  1. The Warriors and Witches Tattoo Festival is organised by Andrew Elliott and Richie Rivers, Directors of Warriors and Witches Limited.
  2. Warriors and Witches Limited is registered in England, company number 17239820.

Changes to our Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to make changes to our T&Cs from time to time. They were first published 02 September 2026.
